Rock music takes monumental stand to fight against the Nigeria crisis and human trafficking ...

Rock & pop celebrities scream for the release of the innocent Nigerian schoolgirls by calling on everyone around the globe to put pressure on the Nigerian government to save the pupils; and for an overall cry to stop human trafficking for good. Rock icon, Andy Fraser, has joined forces with producer, Gary Miller, and a plethora of top name artists to form, ‘Rock Against Trafficking’ (RAT)* – a musical charity which will fight to stop the horror of human trafficking. RAT now uses it’s global influence to pressurize the Nigerian government to act fast.

Support us now, help free the Nigerian girls and put an end to the horror of global trafficking,” calls Andy. Go to the RAT facebook page and register your support NOW.

Together we can end this disgusting act: Rock Against Trafficking on Facebook

Nigeria's president has wasted time downplaying the crisis and lying about these girls' fates when he should be reaching out for help. Now these abducted girls are the victims of a conflict they did not create, and face horrors beyond our imagining — we need to demand that the Nigerian government to do more and make rescuing these girls a top priority.

“The disgusting nature of over 200 Nigerian girls kidnapped, is in fact the tip of the iceberg. We need to stop this atrocity NOW. RAT (Rock against Trafficking) has been launched to raise awareness and funds for the International Justice Mission to help put an end to this scourge. RAT are currently pulling together the biggest singers of our time to create an album to raise much needed funds and awareness to STOP TRAFFICKING.

Child slavery exists in Haiti with the Restavecs, in Europe for the sex trade, even in your hometown. RAT intends to shine a light on this and I am proud to be a part of this action, spearheaded by renowned producer Gary Miller. I’m personally donating my own track, ‘Every Kinda People’ as a fundraising song for this vital cause. The poignant lyrics say it all" - Andy Fraser**

The thought-provoking hit, ‘Every Kinda People’ (an Andy Fraser penning which was a hit for Robert Palmer in ’78 and ’92) will be used as an anthemic message to the world to STOP TRAFFICKING. Profits raised from the single will be donated to the International Justice Mission to end the horrors of trafficking.

Global music stars including, Fergie & Slash, (So Lonely), Glenn Hughes (Roxanne), Andy Fraser, (Every Breath You Take), Julian Lennon, (If I Ever Lose My Faith) Journey (Synchronicity) Heart, (Wrapped Around Your Finger), Steven Tyler (Fields of Gold) En Vogue, (Brand New Day) and Joe Bonamassa and have all come together to support RAT with an awareness and fundraising album of Sting compositions. Interest and support also coming from - Stevie Wonder (Fragile), Chili Peppers, Hans Zimmer, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock (to name a few). Album production and project co-ordination of RAT are spear-headed by mega producer / composer Gary Miller.*** ‘Set Them Free’ will be the album title. Concerts are being scheduled in the UK & US for July 12th 2015 – the 30th LIVE AID anniversary.

The hard line facts:

30 million people are slaves today

80% of trafficking victims are women and girls

50% are minors

2 million children are exploited in the global sex trade

Human trafficking is the 2nd largest criminal enterprise

Immediate Goal: To ensure the safe return of the Nigerian school girls

Longer term Goal: To help rescue children worldwide entrapped in labor and sex slavery, and see them rehabilitated in a safe and loving environment. Further albums will include other songwriters of merit, like Paul Simon, Al Green, Dolly Parton as RAT pledge their long- term commitment to this vital cause.

Ending modern day slavery is vital to us ALL! Each and everyone of us need to ACT NOW to free the innocent Nigerian school girls and to eradicate the horror of human trafficking forever.
